Jaume Miquel’s new responsibilities will be in addition to his current role as CEO, a post he has held since 2016.

The Board of Directors of Tendam Brands, the parent company of Tendam, one of Europe’s leading fashion retailers operating in the specialised chain segment through the Cortefiel, Pedro del Hierro, Springfield, Women’secret and Fifty brands, has appointed Jaume Miquel as Executive Chairman of the company.

The Board of Directors of Tendam Brands accepted the resignation of who was up until now Non-Executive Chairman, Miguel Ibarrola, to whom the Board would like to express its gratitude for his commitment, effort and dedication throughout these vitally important years for the future of the company. This appointment consolidates the support to Tendam’s strategic plan started three years ago.

Jaume Miquel has been Chief Executive Officer of Tendam since 2016, responsibility that he will combine with the new appointment. He was previously Managing Director of the Cortefiel and Pedro del Hierro brands, as well as the head of Women’secret for ten years. He has also held executive positions at Timberland, Dockers and Levi Strauss, among others. Jaume holds a Degree in Economics from Universidad de Barcelona and completed an Executive Training Programme in Business Administration through the IESE Business School.
